My journey to live frugally, yet practically. Nothing extreme, just everyday living to make the most of what we have to work with.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by & following. I am your newest follower. Thanks for you mentioning about working online. We have been looking but haven't found anything.I will definitely check out your posts with working online. As far as the assistance my mom applied for a few programs & unfortunately it is nothing much, not enough to live on at all. It's a minimum amount. The gas company's bill which controlled the heat & hot water was in my grandmother's name, we lived in her house. My mom grew up in the same house we are living in as of now. Unfortunately my grandmother has early stages of Alzheimer's disease. She had to go in a nursing home. My mom can't get help with it unless it's in her name. Meanwhile, the gas company won't change it to my mom's name unless she pays the full bill. Only after she pays the whole bill, then will turn the heat & hot water back on. She can't pay the bill.As far as the churches. Since my mom's car got repossessed we have to walk everywhere, that limits us to only our town. Only one church in my town has a food pantry. We went to there. It is very limited. Thanks so much for giving me that free website. I will check it out.
Thanks so much fro the follow. :) I am now following you back!Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!Betty
Hi! Thanks so much again for mentioning those options. We have some larger towns that aren't with walking distance. I guess we could e-mail some churches.I had no idea they could come to houses with food, I'll check that out, if we have something like that near us.You mentioned they could help with utilities,I never knew that. Do you have to belong to one or could they help anyway? As far as neighbors like you had mentioned with your neighbors, that wouldn't work for us. All the neighbors my mom knew growing up moved & all the new neighbors are very snooty & unfriendly.I really do appreciate you mentioning different options that could help!
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, now following yours!
lol Sorry to hear you have snooty neighbors too. Thanks you again!!
